If you are riding on a Ferris wheel that is 60 feet tall and it takes you 5 minutes to make one revolution, what is your linear velocity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Calculate the circumference of the wheel and assume it to be the distance traveled, then divide by the time for one revolution. The answer is expressed in feet per minute. Circumference / time = linear velocity.

V=RW V is linear velocity, R is Radius and W is angular speed
