I am playing a game for Modern History and there is a problem. We are playing the Diplomacy game and I am so confused! Please explain it to me! And my teacher said whoever loses has to write a research paper and whoever wins gets a 100/100 on the paper!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well... Did your teacher not even describe the game to you? Have you asked your teacher what the game is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it a board game? Because if it is, I found this; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_(game)

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

well Wikipedia is blocked, but my teacher is so strict she just gave us a 24 page description and I can't understand it! I need a shorter explanation.

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

Yes, its a board game.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, try this; http://www.boardgamecapital.com/diplomacy-rules.htm

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

Blocked as well :( can you put it on a document?

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

I really need help on this!

Object: As soon as one Great Power controls 18 supply centers, it’s considered to have gained control of Europe. The player representing that Great Power is the winner. However, players can end the game by agreement before a winner is determined. In this case, all players who still have pieces on the game board share equally in a draw. Contents: Diplomacy contains the game board, 84 fleets, 84 armies, 147 control markers, map pad, and the official Diplomacy rules and instructions. Diplomacy Board Game Rules: Please keep in mind that the official Diplomacy board game rules and instructions could be different depending on the game version you have. The rules below are some of the exact directions on how to play Diplomacy. (Why is everything blocked?)

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

we have laptops for school and they just keep blocking stuff.

OpenStudy (aggie12341):

thanks
