if you place 1000 in a savings account with an interest rate of 3.25%/ month, how much should you earn in interest at the end of the month?

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

1000 * 0.0325 = $32.50

OpenStudy (hesan):

1000x3.25% = 1000x0.0325 =32.5 Just multiply the intrest rate with the amount which u hve submitted into the bank

I thought that's how you did it. But I wasn't sure because that seemed like a lot so I wanted to double check.

OpenStudy (hesan):

what double check??
