Answer the following questions about George Washington's Farewell Address. What concerns does the president have for his country? What are the sources of hope for the new nation? How might the events of Washington’s presidency have influenced his opinions on these matters?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried to find the answers but i had no luck so please help me

@Kfins99

He fears, without him leading, there will be a split in the country, and the country will fall apart. His 3 warnings were no creating political parties, do not get into foreign countries business, and sectionalism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This will help you out as well; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington's_Farewell_Address

@Gatorgirl

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

What concerns does the president have for his country? Healthcare. Other than that, @Kfins99 has shared with you some very good information that should help you as well. There's nothing I can say or do that he hasn't already done or said. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks but the question was about George Washington Farewell Adress

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jcari

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I haven't gotten into much US History yet, Kfins probably knows what he's talking about! Good luck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@snowxangel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you like not trust me in the answer I gave? Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How might the events of Washington's presidency have influenced his opinions on these matters?

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Have you read George Washington's Farewell Address? It's actually easy to answer these questions if you've read it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The problem is when I start reading and I don't take the information in as well because it is just boring somewhat to read and I forget what I read about after I read it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not boring, just suck it up and read it, it is actually really interesting. Because the government goes out and breaks all 3 warnings he gave us

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

I agree with @Kfins99

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you please just help me It is fun to learn except for that part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by help I mean a bit extra help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you take in the perspective and view that you HAVE to do it, you won't enjoy it as much. But when you think positive, like, "wow, cool, that's crazy", you will have a better understanding about what you are learning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Alexis0127

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

I'm sorry, but that's really sad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know t is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Were trying to tell you, if you read the Farewell Address, it will be much easier to answer, understand, and learn about

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I read it like 5 times already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? Then what are you not understanding?

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

I was talking about you @bs07

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the sources of hope for the new nation? How might the events of Washington’s presidency have influenced his opinions on these matters? like these 2 questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know @Gatorgirl

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

Good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sources of hope for the nation are his 3 warnings. By having 2 terms of service as president, his opinions would change because after having 1 term, the country started to change, but by doing another term, he got to see the shift and got to talk about what to do to make the country a thriving country. He also made sure that the country would be good to pass on to another person to lead as president

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks

No prob!
