He fears, without him leading, there will be a split in the country, and the country will fall apart. His 3 warnings were no creating political parties, do not get into foreign countries business, and sectionalism

The problem is when I start reading and I don't take the information in as well because it is just boring somewhat to read and I forget what I read about after I read it

The sources of hope for the nation are his 3 warnings. By having 2 terms of service as president, his opinions would change because after having 1 term, the country started to change, but by doing another term, he got to see the shift and got to talk about what to do to make the country a thriving country. He also made sure that the country would be good to pass on to another person to lead as president
