Lisa and Michelle want to play a game, but the spinner is missing. According to the manufacturer, the spinner should allow for a 60% probability to move ahead 5 spaces on the game, and a one out of five probability to lose a turn. If a player also has 0.2 probability of moving ahead one space on the game, which spinner should the girls use for this game?

First of all welcome. Let's see if we can work this one out step by step.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's start by writing the probability in a way that they all look the same

we have a 60%, a 0.2 and a 1/5 I don't know which format you prefer but it's easier to put all of them in a single format.
