Not quite everyone. Hero has been on the site since 2011. And phi was in Yale with me during our grad school years! Some old friends and some new friends.
We are always on the lookout for new mods. But you have to earn it...(-:

Hero deserved it very well. He has really waited for a very very very long time (As Preetha said) and also, Phi famous for his excellent help.... - Both deserved this position. Thanks @Preetha - for taking right decision.

Congratulations to @Hero and @phi. Hero is truly a great asset to OS, he is a great user, who takes the time to help everyone, and is a great friend. I never really met Phi, but we will at some point in time meet each other, I am sure he is also great.

ah this makes me sorta nostalgic :,) I remember when I first joined about a year ago....people like hero, e.mccormick, aravindg, swag, chmvijay, etc. who have helped me when I myself was barely learning the ropes of this site. They helped me reach progress and become what I am currently, and to strive for improvement. Now they are all mods., and well deserved; it's about time, if you ask me ^_^ So congrats you two :D even though I haven't really interacted with you much, but no time like the present, right? Well bye for now, and good luck practicing your throws with those banhammers

and all the best to the both of ya too ^_^ and aww thanks, I don't really try to be an inspiration xD my main goals on here are to make friends, act in a way that is not mean but still allows me to be who I am (and not be warned/suspended), to help others. I'm so glad you find me to be inspiring @happinessbreaksbones I'm like crying tears of happiness :,D. I, too, hope to become a moderator someday.. so I'm planning to keep up my so-far warning/suspension free status xD I love all of you, you're like my virtual family <3
