OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):

figure ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the diameter of my flask is 15.0 cm they want the volume in lieters i followed the steps and got 1767 i dont think that is right.

OpenStudy (ranga):

A circle does not have volume. It is a two dimensional figure, flat. A cylinder, a sphere, a cube, etc. has volume because they are three dimensional figures. So you will have to gives us the correct question.

calculate the volume of liquid in the round flask sketched below. Give your answer in liters, and round to the nearest . diamter 15.0 cm

OpenStudy (ranga):

"sketched below" But the sketch is missing. You can use the Draw button under reply to sketch it. Also knowing the diameter of a circle, we can calculate area of the circle. To calculate volume of a flask or cylinder or a cone we will need the shape first and another measurement such as the height, etc.
