Can anyone help me with this question?

It was on my last test and I got it wrong, I am afraid they may put it on new test 0:

How does voltage and resistance relate to power? It seems to me that you'd need to know that before you could answer this. Then you would differentiate implicitly and sub in your values. What was your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm I well voltage is the amount of energy while resistance is how much it can take?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then for the answer of A I have no clue you have to set it =R which I am not sure to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK, volts divided by R=power. You know the volts, so solve that for R. Then differentiate implicitly. Aside from that, without really understanding the relationships between those things, I don't know. I'd need a formula. I'm sorry!!
