In what way were the Maya different from the Aztec and Inca civilizations? The Aztec and Inca were deeply religious, but the Maya were not. The Aztec and Inca had large, united empires, but the Maya did not. The Aztec and Inca relied mainly on agriculture, but the Maya did not. The Aztec and Inca had vast trade networks, but the Maya did not.
