Please double check mt answer for this Algebra 2 Quadratic Functions/Equations problem? The problem is: Find an equation in standard form of the parabola passing through the points (1, -2) (2, -4) (3, -4). I got y=-1/4x^2-1 3/4.

I got y = x^2 -5x + 2...how did you get your answer?

your error is in your second pair of equations... it should be - 4 = a(2^2) + b(2) + c
