HELP ME PLEASE!!!
Minimum for P = 3x + y
Have you tested the frontier vertices? (0,5), (2,1), (3,0)
I am completely clueless on this lesson. I do not understand any of it what-so-ever. I was hoping somebody would be able to assist me with a step-by-step answer.
It seems the answer would be (0,5) ???? @tkhunny
Well, I just told you how to solve it. The minimum of such a problem is at one of the frontier vertices. Test them all and see which is the minimum.
3x + y (0,5), (2,1), (3,0) (0,5) ==> 3(0) + 5 = 5 (2,1) ==> 3(2) + 1 = 7 (3,0) ==> 3(3) + 0 = 9
Yeah, so then it would be 0,5 correct?
Don't ask me that. Look at 5, 7, and 9 and you tell me which is the least.
5 of course. I'm gonna go with 0,5. Mind assisting me on another?
Make another post. Ping me if you like.
