How would I find the volume of a composite Figure?

Here's a video on it, I think this will help a lot! http://www.virtualnerd.com/pre-algebra/perimeter-area-volume/volume/volume-examples/composite-figure-volume-example

liquid displacement. measure the volume of liquid in a container, submerge your irregular shape into it completely and remeasure the volume of the liquid. ending volume minus beggining volume = volume of shape.
