Write the equation in function notation. Explain what the graph of the function represents. Be sure to use complete sentences

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = x + 400 The graph of the functions represents all of the points (x, f(x)) that are solutions of the function. So it represents all combinations of smart phone cases and tablet cases that result in a total profit of $1,200.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but how would I like graph that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um like on a regular graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok can I ask one more question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Suppose in the next month, the total profit on smart phone cases and tablet cases is $1,500. The profit amounts are the same, $2 for smart phone case and $3 for the tablet case. In a paragraph of at least three sentences, explain how the graphs of the functions for the two months are the same and how they are different. Be sure to use complete sentences

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry It's like for the same problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know is this on a test you have or something bc i had all these questions on mine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not a test it's like problem questions. my mom is making me do them and I want to get out of her room. please please please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The two graphs have the same slope because in each case, when the number of smart phone cases increases, the number of tablet cases must decrease so that the total profit remains the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

she's annoying she can't even do math but she tries so I guess I can't complain much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for your help though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried to teach my mom to copy and paste i might as well have been talking to a wall

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anythime

OpenStudy (anonymous):
