When I go down and down in mathematics Section, I often see many Questions Unanswered. It remains unanswered. I have a suggestion.

Can We have a Public Bump Button Feature in the questions . So that the question can be bumped by any user ?

what if a spammer goes down and bumps all questions which are not required to be bumped ?
giving more facilities to user will just aid spammers and add problems to others.

^that's a good point. But I am telling only about the unanswered questions. If a question is Unanswered, it leads to the tendency of 'dis-liking' OS, and that we don't want.

A button can be made which gets vanish after atleast 3 replies.

I think that the only one that should be able to bump the question is the asker. If they don't bump it, they don't want help that bad.

What if it wasn't a bump button, but if it wasn't closed or answered yet, it gets bumped up to the top

To avoid unnecessary spamming, it can be something like..

when someone BUMPS your question.. you get a notification and u have to approve it

this will make sure, that the questions get bumped if and only if the user who asked the question is active..!

We do a lot for the members here that only ASK and not answer, so if we bumped THEIR question, what would that do for us? We would still be helping them, when, they probably don't even care!

I think the asker should be the only one that should be able to bump the question. If they care enough to get help, they will.

The public-bump, I believe, is a good idea. BUT, in general it is a bad idea at the same time! People who are truly learning here will bump it themselves, that is not our problem that they don't care about getting the answer, that's on them. The laziness of not even looking up a simple person or question, is very odd to me! I see the most odd questions that are so simple, and they have absolutely no clue! If they were willing to learn and get that answer, if it hadn't already been answered, they would bump it themselves.

Many questions remain unanswered because the askers don't know where the bump button is used for. Perhaps ambassadors could send these users a pm with some instructions when they don't bump the question but are still in need of help.

Well it wouldn't be that hard to enable the bump button for specific users. But still nobody should be able to bump other people's questions. Only mods can do that.
Trolls would go down the list and bump every old 1 year old questions for fun. I predict total chaos.
