HELP! It involves slopes. A company produces accessories for smart phones and tablets. The profit on each smart phone case is $2 and the profit on each tablet case is $3. The company made a profit of $1,200 on the cases last month. The equation 2x + 3y = 1,200 represents the company's profit from cases last month, where x is the number of smart phone cases sold and y is the number of tablet cases sold.

2x+3y=1200 in slope intercept form it would be y=-2/3x+400. since the y-intercept is 400 you would graph 400 first on the y axis. USE INCREMENTS!!!trust me u need them bad. then do the slope from there go -2/3. down -2 right 3. more mathematical way of saying it is rise over run. but in this case its like fall/run because ur going down.

increments go by 100 so like 1 notch thingie is 100 2nd 200. same with the x axis. both axis go by increments of 100
