Nevertheless this isn't so difficult at all. All you'll need to do is take the vertex formula:

\(y = a(x - h)^2 + k\)

Then, make sure that \(a\) is between -4 and 4, and make sure that \((h,k)\) contain the month, \(h\), and day \(k\) of your birth date.

For example, suppose your birth date occurred on March 8th, then you could choose a value for \(a\), perhaps \(a = 2\). Then your quadratic function in vertex form will be

\(y = 2(x - 3)^2 + 8\)
