i really dont know how to grap does any one else i have to take a quiz and still dont get Graphing Quadratics

i once tried claiming my hand had a seizure in the middle of the test, but it didn't work out too well. Try looking for online sources. If it still doesn't work, grab your textbook and shoot a couple questions on here. I'll take a look-see.

im doing an online class so its all on line

ah - that's a little inescapable then... hmm online source practice problems.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

you start with quadratic equation \[y = ax^{2} +bx+c\] first thing is find the vertex (min or max of curve) vertex = (h,k) \[h = \frac{-b}{2a}\] plug "h" into equation to get "k" next plot the y-intercept which is (0,c) next pick 2 points on either side of vertex.... example if vertex is (2,2) then choose x_values 0 and 4 or 1 and 3 plug those into equation to get y_values plot those points Finally connect the points and you have your parabola :)
