Well I need to ask you what time period did the Dutch settle in Netherlands? I found the answer in my notes for this question

OH OK. This would most likely be during LOUIS XIV's reign. I say this because he was the king of France to revoke the Edict of Nantes - which gave Huguenots (french Calvinists) freedom to worship openly. Along with the revocation came massacres - as you may expect. Many place they fled, including the Netherlands. so mid 1600's to late 1600's
