In your own words, explain how the changes in the density of ocean water causes movement of ocean water from one place to another.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Through diffusion, molecules move from an area of high concentration to low concentration. Denser ocean water has a higher concentration so it moves to less dense ocean water because less dense water has a low concentration. Warm water is less dense than cold water since the molecules are more "jiggly" so thats why warm water moves to colder water.
