Has anybody read the book called the Lord of the Flies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Was it a good book to you? @Kristen17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eh it was okay. If you understand the symbolism and the entire idea of the book then it's really good. But if you can't figure out the symbolism it's a really weird book. Are you reading it or something? If so I can help you with all the symbolism included and what not. Another thing is there's some references about like the pig head being Satan and stuff and when one of the kids dying it's suppose to represent Jesus's death...It's a little confusing if you think about it.

Yes I am for Language class. (English) She is assigning us, to read whatever chapter on a day, she tells us and than says you will have a quiz on it. She assigns the dates to read and the quizzes. How long ago did you read it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I read it in 9th so about 3 or 4 years ago but I still own it and remember basically everything about it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You must really like that book @Kristen17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No not really but it's okay. I just have a good memory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kristen17 you really do because you said you have read the book the 3 or 4 years ago

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did... I had to for my English class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I don't understand something in the book, I'll ask you

OpenStudy (anonymous):
