Osmosis is common in life, not so common elsewhere. What is the effect of osmosis in living systems? a. It helps the living system learn more quickly b. It moderates changes in salt concentration in the cell c. It purifies the water in a living cell d. It regulates the internal temperature of the living system
Osmosis is the net movement of water molecules from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration through a partially permeable membrane. Water molecules moving through a partially permeable membrane only allows small molecules to past through. If living things doesn't have partially permeable membrane, large and small molecules will be able to past through.
a process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, thus equalizing the concentrations on each side of the membrane.
lol.
So, I think that would make the answer b.
What do you think @beccaboo333
