Both changed borders of many countries including: Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Germany, Prussia. Italy, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Oman, Yemen Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Morocco because of the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

WWI was caused by a single event, the assassination of the monarch of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. WWII was caused by a series of events caused by Adolf Hitler conquering multiple nations in Europe, starting with Austria, Czechoslovakia, and parts of France.
