The English translation of that is "I traveled to Cancun, Mexico. I traveled with my friends from school. I took some clothes, a toothbrush, and a hairbrush. I paid the bill in cash. In the hotel, we needed food and internet. We visited the beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants. I bought all kinds of souvenirs like t-shirts and candles. We ate at Du Mexique. I had the Kobe beef and it was superb. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back soon."

Trust me - this is hard even for me, but I am dedicated to giving you the right answer!You always have to remember that preterite tense is very different from past tense. I think you used past tense instead of preterite tense.:

Viajé a Cancún, México. Viajé con mis amigos de la escuela. Llevé un poco de ropa, un cepillo de dientes y un cepillo para el pelo. Pagué la cuenta en efectivo. En el hotel, teníamos comida y el internet. Visitamos las hermosas playas y restaurantes increíbles. Compré todo tipo de recuerdos como camisetas y velas. Comimos en Du Mexique. Tuve la carne Kobe y fue magnífico. Nos lo pasamos muy bien y estamos con ganas de volver pronto.
