how should i find the slope???? put in standard form The line through (1, 5) and parallel to the x-axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There should be another point , and you could find the slope by y2-y1/x2-x1

hartnn (hartnn):

actually since it is parallel to x axis, we don't need points to find slope

hartnn (hartnn):

you know the slope of x axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know how to find it...

hartnn (hartnn):

x axis is just a horizontal line. horizontal lines have 0 slope :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thankx, i can do the rest...

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
