... Flashback is like a memory. The character refers back to a later time and lives the memory basically. Theresa a better way to explain it but it's not coming to me at the moment.. sorry

a flshback is a memory yes , the affect it has is it gives you a better understanding on why certain things are happening and a better understanding of the chatracter also
