What are the common roots of Christianity, Islam and Judaism?
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are monotheistic religions which basically means that they believe in one God. The three religions believe that human beings are the highest creatures here on earth and so do many others. All three religions believe that no matter how hard times are now there is a better future out there whether it be heaven, or living on a paradise Earth. Christians believe that Jesus is their Messiah. If the specific christian branch believes in the Trinity then they believe that Jesus is also God intstead of his son.(The popular belief is Jesus is the son of God) Islam/Muslims believe that Muhammad "i think i spelled that right" is their Messiah. Most people do not know that Muslims also believe Jesus exsisted and was a prophet of God or (Allah), but they do not believe Jesus is the almighty Messiah Christians make him out to be. Jews dont believe in either Jesus or Muhammad. They think that their Messiah has still not come yet but will arrive soon on this Earth. They also believe that Moses was the greatest of the prophets unlike Christians who thin Jesus was. Jews like to focus more on relationships than anything. This includes both God and friends. All three religions have different branches of beliefs such as Catholics, Protestants, and so forth. This being said not all Christians, Jews, and Muslims believe in exactly the same thing, but I have tried to put their basic views down for you. In no way am I putting my own personal opinion or beliefs in anything i have said. I do not want anyone to think i am against any religion. I am only putting down facts that i know. Please tell me if this answer helped anyone?
They all branch off of each other.
