Can you please help???!!! It takes a total of 6 hours to fill up an in ground backyard pool using a standard hose. A function can represent this situation to represent the amount of water in the pool until it is full as a function of the time the hose is running. Determine the domain for this function. The domain is all integers from 0 to 6 hours. The domain is all even integers from 0 to 6 hours. The domain is all real numbers from 0 to 6 hours. The domain is all positive real numbers.

please help???

OpenStudy (ranga):

At time t = 0 the pool is empty. At time t = 6 hours the pool is full. Once you have a function that represents the amount of water in the pool, you should be able to put any value for t in the domain 0 <= t <= 6 to find the amount of water in the pool. t can be any real number such as: 1, 1.5, 2.8, 3.6589, etc. So all real numbers from 0 to 6 hours.

its- A science experiment begins with a metal at -100° Celsius. The following function describes the temperature change per minute: f(x) = 89x - 100°. How will the graph of this function change if the metal is at 25° at the start of the experiment? The line will shift vertically up by 125°. The line will shift vertically up by 25°. The line will shift vertically down by 125°. The line will shift vertically down by 25°.

OpenStudy (ranga):

In the first line is the metal at minus 100 or is it just a dash.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a negative 100

OpenStudy (ranga):

Then it looks like the function f(x) = 89x + (metal temperature at start of experiment) So if the temp at start is -100, f(x) = 89x - 100 If the temp at start is 25, f(x) = 89x + 25 So that is a shift of +125 in the positive y direction. So choice A)

ok im sorry but can you help with one more it'll be the last one
