Easy question? I keep changing the signs wrong so I need help. f(-x)=(-x)^4-(-x)^3+7(-x)^2-9(-x)-18. The original equation was x^4-x^3+7x^2-9x-18. I had to replace x with -x.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

odd degrees change signs ... even degrees do not

OpenStudy (amistre64):

x^4 -x^3 +7x^2 -9x -18 ^ ^ x^4 +x^3 +7x^2 +9x -18

Ohhh. That helps with my other questions I was doing! Thank you so much!

youre welcome
