The picture below shows a container that Jeff uses to freeze water. What is the minimum number of identical containers that Jeff would need to make 2000 cm3 of ice? a. 8 b. 4 c. 2 d. 16
got a picture of the container?
oh yea sorry
Alright. So what we need to do is find the volume of the cylinder. Do you know the equation of that? The volume of a cylinder that is.
v=pi r^2*h
awesome! In the picture the diameter of the base circle and the height of the cylinder is given. We can take the diameter of the base circle and divide it by "2" to find the radius. After that we plug that height that is given and then the radius of that we calculated into the volume equation to find the volume of that single cylinder we have.
do that now and show answer
4? actually 3.99
3.98*
Haha! Seems like you jumped ahead. But yes that's right. 4 containers worth of the same volume would fit the needed volume of ice that is needed to be made
yea after i got the formula it made sence and i was able to do it. thank you! :)
