OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

(1/25)t^2(5ln(t)-1) how does this simplify to (1/5)(t^2)(ln(t)) Wolframalpha link if you want to se what i mean http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=t%5E2y%22%2B2ty%27-6y%3Dt%5E2

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

\[\frac{ 1 }{25 }t^2(\ln(t)-1) \rightarrow \frac{1}{5}t^2\ln(t)\]

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

why did i lose the \[\frac{ -1 }{ 25 }t^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I see. You need to add the general solution to the particular solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And since the general solution has a term that partly cancels the particular solution out, you're left with that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's like 2 steps above the last step, it's a bit hard to copy from my ipad.

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):
