what the heck is happening? my account is glitching super bad and there are delete signs everywhere, people with 222 as a smartscore and nothing is loading.. help? (will include snapshot if it lets me.. idk whats happening)

Sounds like it was stuck loading and the placeholder data was showing.

NaN is a placeholder for a non numeric value. Not a Number.

Yah, sounds like the interface was connecting to you, but the database was being picky about answering.

well how can i fix it? clearing my cache doesn't do anything.. is there anything a mod can do about this? cause it keeps putting other peoples questions at the top of my screen allowing me to bump them and i have delete signs on almost every question. And i have to refresh my page every two seconds or it goes crazy, but every other website i go to is perfectly fine so i know it isn't my laptop, it's just my account on OS

Does it hapen with different browsers?

@Preetha The OS staff may need to look at it too. Sometimes a database record get a bit bent out of shape and an admin has to hammer it back into place.

@doggy, when was the last time you cleared your cache/cookies, browsing history, etc.

i clear my cache every time i try to go onto open study.. i can't ask questions anymore.. i can't open chat anymore... and every other website loads perfectly fine, OS is the only thing seeming to mess up like this, sometimes i can't even log onto OS because nothing i click will really work, this happens on every computer, even the school computer is doing this to me :< i just want my account back honestly

Sorry to hear that. The last time I spoke to Preetha about making site changes she said that she couldn't make any engineering changes, so it seems like OS may remain in this glitchy state for a while.

Try making a different account just to test. Some random name. If it works, then it is definitely something wrong with that account. That is something the admins would need to fix.

i made another account and it was exactly the same, which i don't understand because i know it isn't my computer and it isn't my internet source.. because i tried opening my account on the school computer also and it was still very glitchy like this, ive also tried opening it on my phone and at my friends house.. so i'm very confused right now.. and it's so difficult to reply or read comments because if i don't reload the page the comments become random comments from other questions people have asked

i think it is fixed.. i mean every once in a while there will be delete signs over questions, but other than that, openstudy is finally working again :3
