ISN'T THIS SITE SUPPOSE TO HELP? I have an hour here & so far nobody has helped me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already have all the areas i just need to know if i have to add all of them in order to find the total area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You misunderstood, this website is a learning tool, you still need to clean your own room.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats what i mean by HELP obviously im here to learn but nobody helps me.& i dont appreacite you're agressivesnness im just a teen trying to learn.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A perfect example is right now instead of helping me you're arguing with me. This site doesnt help.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Not everyone will open a foreign .docx. I know I won't. Find another way to communicate and we can talk.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not agresive that was a joke, chil out a little, anyway if you have all the areas you can jus add them up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny its not a foreign docx is math.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& thanks thats all i needed to know its sad how i had to be here an hour just to know that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you knew me you know I help a lot of people a lot of times. But I can't help everone

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

We are volunteers. If you want immediate access, please consider paying for it. We wander by when we can. It's what volunteers do.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I didn't write the .docx and I have no idea where you obtained it. That makes it foreign. I won't open it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-_- great @tkhunny if you're gonna be negative please dismiss yourself you're not helping at all.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

No negativity at all. If you refuse to understand a reasonable reply, I am confident we cannot help you. I am sorry that you have obtained no assistance in over an hour. You will also receive no assistance for throwing a tantrum. If you would like to present a math problem, in a useful format, and demonstrate your best efforts, and participate in a reasonable discussion, we can help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have obviously presented and demostrate my efforts by finding all the areas of my problem. i have done more than the work & all i needed was an explanation as to why i would need to add the area but what happen? i got into a discussion for stating what i think

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You missed this part "in a useful format".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/5270a0d0e4b08ad7c0d81ab8-lessis-1383114637801-tryagain.png there is prove that i spend over an hour trying to show my reaosning yet i did not get an explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which that even with a useful format i still dont get help in this site. its just sad really i used to think i could come here for help but now i see that this new people are just ruining evreything and the assistance which is why alot of kids give up.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Two easy ways to get the contents of your document onto the site in a format people might be able to read: 1) Export a PDF document. 2) Take a screen shot, save it, post that. Most people here are not very interested in opening a random document file. When you use a more basic format, you work with people rather than against them. As for how long it takes to get an answer, that really depends on the question, how it is presented, and how much information you give on the work that has been done so far.

Directrix (directrix):

Attached is the first question:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ive done that before i have screen shot it then save it and post it but apparently thats not allowed here anymore according to @tkhunny because its foreign

Directrix (directrix):

Attached is the second question. So, let us divert our energy toward solving the problems.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

No, you misunderstood him completely. Docx files can include script viruses, which is why some people refuse to open them if they do not know the source.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-_- anyways like @Directrix said let us divert our energy toward solving the problems.

Directrix (directrix):

@Thatyoungbuttercup I saw that drawing from last night but did not know if the question was completed. The drawing looked good to me. So, I think that is a good place to begin on that question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I Just need to know if we add all the areas for our main area?

Directrix (directrix):

Suggestion: @Thatyoungbuttercup Close out this thread and start a new one. Oh, yes the sum of all those areas will the the area of the entire figure you posted. That is an illustration of the Area Addition Postulate. If you like, I will help you check your answer. Whatever you want to do.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Okay, as far as this one goes, http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/5270a0d0e4b08ad7c0d81ab8-lessis-1383114637801-tryagain.png, it appears you have dissected the area quite nicely. Very good. What we don't have is an actual problem statement. Just what was it you were supposed to be doing? Just for the record, I would have responded to this much faster, but my keyboard decided to wander off into la-la land. It took a few minute to get it working, again. There are many reasons for delays. No need to get excited.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes help me! i would post all the areas i got in another one hold up!

Directrix (directrix):

I'll look for you on the new thread. @Thatyoungbuttercup
