I honestly don't know but don't think it will change because the nails with 5% deviation were removed, do what was left "should" maintain the same standard deviation for weight support.

Has been a while since I did stats but based on distant memory I'd think the standard deviation will decrease.  But can't be 100% sure.

@katlin95  I am not 100% sure but my thinking is that the standard deviation will decrease provided that it is known that the remaining regular nails support at least 500 pounds.
