why we use z transform???

Z transform is similar to Laplace transform for continous time signals. We use Z transform to obtrain the Transfer function of a discrite waveform in the Z plane that will help us find the Frequency response by subtituting Z with e^jω and also check if our System is stable. Hope that makes sense.
