Graphing (lol) Given the function f(x) = x3 + 2x2 − 3x − 5, what is resulting function when f(x) is shifted to the right 1 unit?

OpenStudy (dan815):

\[hey\]

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Hey

OpenStudy (dan815):

so you want to graph this baby first

OpenStudy (dan815):

find its zeros

OpenStudy (dan815):

and then shift the zeros by 1 to the right

OpenStudy (dan815):

and its positive so yeah that pretty much does it, unless you want to find exactly where the inflection points are too you can do that

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

|dw:1383211387201:dw| it should look something like this if my mind is still smart enough to graph equations at 5:30 a.m lol
