A joule is an amount of energy, and a watt is a rate of using energy, defined as 1 W = 1 J / s. How many joules of energy are required to run a 100 W light bulb for one day?

if I understand correctly the premise then, 60 sec * 60 mins * 24 hours = total seconds in a day. this in turn would be the watts *100 for 1 day. 8 640 000 watts used in one day.
