neither ribonuclease nor myoglobin had quaternary sturucture why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order for a protein to have quaternary structure, it must be made up of more than 1 polypeptide chain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hemoglobin is an example of a protein with quaternary structure because it has 4 separate polypeptide chains bonded together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ribonuclease and myoglobin consist of only 1 polypeptide chain, therefore they do not have quaternary structure
