Here's a solution for Mechanical MOOC / MIT OCW 6.189 Homework 1, Exercise OPT.1 – Zeller’s Algorithm. It has been modified so that the months January to December are numbered from 1 to 12, respectively. Also, enter the actual year as input, regardless of whether the month is January or February.

The algorithm is valid for the Gregorian Calendar, beginning September 14, 1752.
