The second amendment was passed because of the lack of knowledge of weaponry by the people especially during the revolutionary war, the government decided to let people learn how to use a gun and protect themselves in every way possible, then by this they decided to even let people harness weaponry and keep it with them and bear them to protect themselves daily.
