Equation of exponential growth y=a*b^x. a>0 and 0<b<1 as a rule. Now can you tell me what you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its A ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try again, remember x is the exponent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let me explain this again. Exponential growth is shown in the equation y=a*b^x a is a number that must be GREATER than 0. b must be BETWEEN 0 and 1. x is the exponent which we exponentially grow by.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i think its B now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just messing with ya bud, nice work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's wrong, it's D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you keep raising 0.95 to powers, it gets smaller and smaller. It's not any kind of growth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

I'm sorry! I thought you were asking for decay :/ My apologies.
