what is the measure of the angle formed by the clock hands if the time is 4:30

360º/12 = 30º for each regular five-minute marker

This is a bit of a trick question, I had this one come up last week.
Use hunny's advice but also remember that when it's 4:30, the hour hand is NOT on the 4 ~ It's half way between the 4 and the 5! :)
