If you subtract any two integers it will be positive? is this true or false and some examples PLEASE (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well think about it, choose ANY 2 integer number and subtract from each other. Eg: 5-10 or 6-2 or 3-15 or 20-10 Are they positive answer or negative answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

False. \(a - b\) won't be positive in any case where b \(\ge\) a.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you subtract two positves together then it will stay a positive.. but if you subtract a negative from a positive it can go either way. if you subtract a negative and a negative it will stay negative

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Seriously? -2,000,000,000 - (-3) Nope, not positive.
