Correct me if im wrong 5 multiple Choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ehuman @Luigi0210 @happinessbreaksbones can either of you correct and check my answer?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

for #1 it's the first choice...the numbers are right but the signs are wrong. you need to switch the signs on the result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You also forgot to cancel one of the x's. (It's \(x^3\) not \(x^2\)) Also, I just noticed, why is this in Biology?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh lol put it in the wrong section okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(x^2\) not \(x^3\), even

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

third one is b

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

2x+7 for #3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay what about 2?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

either the third choice or the fourth choice... there could be atypo somewhere

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SACAPUNTAS what do you think 2 is

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

got it the last one

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

it was just a brain freeze lol but it is the last one...now on to 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's the last one also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2 is d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so!

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

fourth one is also the last one

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

now ughhh word problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not that bad of a word problem, you just have to divide the polynomial by both things. (That's the part that's bad)

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

sighhhhh kkkkkk

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

so it;s like two parts and then add them together ish

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyway since I'm lazy and hate synthetic division I expanded the given answer and it's wrong. I dunno which one is right though!

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

well multiple choice is awesome lol

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

it gives clues

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Expanding 3 more polynomials" is pretty much right next to "Doing synthetic division" on my list of "Fun things," but yeah. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyway! I think it's C.

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

I no like word problems wahhhh!!! at least I checked those four

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you agree @UsukiDoll and imma give the medal to @UsukiDoll because i said i was before we started this sorry @SACAPUNTAS but i will fan you

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

read more about switching signs when it comes to dividing polynomials. you got the numbers right, but the signs wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh okay so 1.A 2.D 3.B 4.D 5.C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also read about synthetic division if you haven't already. It is a lot less annoying. I mean, it's still pretty annoying, but it's more like a yipping dog instead of nails on a chalkboard.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @SACAPUNTAS and @UsukiDoll
