OpenStudy (samigupta8):

the roots of the equation are(where a,b and c are rational numbers) a.both rational roots b.one rational and one irrational c.both irrational d.complex roots

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

\[(a+2b-3c)^2+(b+2c-3a)x+c+2a-3b=0\]

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

@Mashy pls...hlp me in dis one /

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know how to check the nature of the roots? in general for a quadratic equation?

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

yaa for sure by using discriminant

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

the answer to this question is a. but i m not able to get how

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

actually i solved it and i get 2 values of x out of which one is positive and other is negative

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

\[25b^2+a^2+16c62+8ac-40bc-10ab\]

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

it's cuming out to be the discriminant

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

and sry for my mistake that was 16b^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait lemme check
