Do you think with the rise in E-cigs production will lead to increasing amounts of people smoking real cigarettes?
Or will more people transition from real cigarettes to the electronic ones?
Are you looking for random comments or research?
Anyone's opinion so yea random.
I think it will depend on a combination of price and nicotine levels. The more nicotine people can get for less money, the more likely they are to switch.
as a 2 pack a day smoker for 25+ years. I found that the e cig. (none of which contains nicotine) was helpful in conjunction with a nicotine patch. as a replacement for the holding of a smoke. so I think no. it should have the opposite effect as more people use them to quit smoking.
Ah, my mistake, I thought they were a nicotine source. So they are a habit replacement. In that case, I think they will show very good results. The habits are the hard part for people to deal with. Let them keep the habit without any bad effects and the psychology of smoking is easier to deal with.
"An electronic cigarette (or e-cigarette), electronic vaping device[citation needed], personal vaporizer (PV), or electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) is an electronic inhaler meant to simulate and substitute for tobacco smoking. It generally uses a heating element that vaporizes a liquid solution. Some release nicotine, while some merely release flavored vapor. They are often designed to mimic traditional smoking implements, such as cigarettes or cigars, in their use and/or appearance, although more and more devices are designed not to imitate them." Wikipedia... but it looks like it is a mix of nicotine and non-nicotine ones.
all the stores around here sell around 5 versions of the e cig and I couldn't find one that contained nicotine.
