Draw an x-axis and a y-axis on grid paper. Number each from -10 to 0 and 0 to 10. Graph the points (6,9) and (-2,3) on the grid paper using one of your colored pencils and connect them. Graph the points (1,-6) and (9,6) using the other colored pencil, connecting as you go. On the same graph, plot the points (-1,5) and (5,1) on the grid paper using one of your colored pencils and connect them. Draw a new set of axes and draw a horizontal line at y =2 and a vertical line a x = -4 QUESTIONS: 1. What is the slope of the horizontal line? 2. What is the slope of the vertical line?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

graph it. plug in 2 points on the horizontal line to find the slope for number 1 for number 2 it is undefined, as any slope of a vertical line.
