What was the combined effect of both the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Nuremberg Trials? They started the Cold War between the U.S. and the USSR They led directly to war on the Korean peninsula. They codified international humanitarian law. They divided Germany into eastern and western parts.
started the cold war between the U.S and the USSR. that should be it.
I'm not sure about that... Other factors led to the Cold War, but the Nuremburg Trials and the Declaration of Human Rights brought topics related to humanitarian law to the front page. The war on the Korean peninsula also had nothing to do with either event and focused more on the fact that Kim Il Sung decided to invade South Korea in a bid to unite the two under communist rule. If anything else, they actually established a basis for an international understanding on the basic rights of humanity as a whole which is why I'd go with the third choice instead.
I guessed A from what u said, but the answer was D! :(((((
