for the first one all you have to do is plug in the x from the ordered pairs and see if you get the y so it would be 3 times (2)-1=5 soo it equals the ordered pair (2,5)

Sorry about how many they are, I just have been on this for days...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And ty for the first answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the third one when it says "is" that means equal so since it says "is 9" then you know is gonna be = to 9 so put it all together and it would be -4x+2=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

number 4 , you add 6 to both sides and get your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 4 = 12 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equal -12 remember when you add -18+6=-12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5. 4x+3=47 -3 -3 4x=44 divide then you get 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6. you divide and get 36

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

for first question the answer is (2,5) see here (x,y)=(2,5) y=3x-1 y=5,x=2 now put it in the equation 5=3(2)-1 5=6-1 5=5 Hence answer is correct
