how do you find the measures of each numbered angle?

OpenStudy (arabpride):

You have to look at each angle and triangle separately, then identify its relationship with other angles

I'll try to solve it..... :D

OpenStudy (arabpride):

angle 3 equals 40 because 180 - 140= 40 when we add up 65 degrees and 40 degrees..we get 105 degrees... subtract that from 180 and you'll get 75 degrees..... so angle 1 equals 75 degrees i THINK that angle 4 is congruent to 65 degrees.... if angle 4 equals 65 degrees then that means that angle 2 will equal 65 degrees+75 - 180 in other words....180-140= 40 so angle 2 equals 40 degrees (hopefully😌)

arabpride makes a good guess about the middle line being parallel to the bottom line and it is the only seeming way to solve the equation without tools.

thanks zJicez... if I were asked this question several weeks ago...i would have thought..???????????????????????????????????? lol
