OpenStudy (esshotwired):

do you have a question now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea let me get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i actually have 4. do u think u can still help?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

i can try them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok here they are: 1. What causes air pressure? 2. What instrument is used to measure air pressure? 3. Why does air pressure decrease as you go up in altitude? 4. When preparing for a climb, many climbers will measure the air pressure at the highest altitudes to which they will be climbing. Why do they do this?

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

1. i know that air has weight to it but you can look here for more explanation http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080312172951AAss6vC 2. barometer and pressure gauges 3. there are fewer air molecules at a higher elevation 4. at higher elevation, there is less pressure and pressure is what helps oxygen into the blood stream. with less pressure, there will not be enough oxygen in the body hope this helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thanks sooooooooo much

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

your welcome :)
